Exploring the role of the enteric nervous system on myelination during early life

During infancy neural axons rapid myelination, slowly consolidates spatiotemporally until adulthood to ensure neurotransmission and brain functions. The prefrontal cortex, undergoing later myelination in new-born, is affected by neonatal intestinal microbial status, and highly implicated in the development of brain in early life.

14th May 2024
On the 14th of May 2024, BINC had the pleasure to hold meeting in Geneva with the Administration board.We were thrilled to discuss the foundation’s progress especially regarding our Research Partnership Program and the 2024 grants.We also shared information about BINC’s participation on ESPGHAN 56th Annual Meeting in Milan, 16th-18th of May, and about the organization of our Morning Symposium on osteopontin.
